We live in a vortex that is eroding the very tasks, which make us human; artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual and augmented reality and other developing technologies will significantly transform our world in the near future. Autonomous cars, chatbots and, deep learning technologies are only the tip of the information age iceberg.  These new neurotechnologies, promise implantable computers in human brains that will provide intelligence at a new physiological and intellectual level. Indeed, Neuralink and other emerging technologies will, over time, displace many occupations with cyborgs. How will these changes affect the library world?
